Two Charged With Possession Of Meth After Traffic Stop In Hopkinsville

A Hopkinsville man and woman are charged with possession of meth after a traffic stop on Elm Street Sunday night.

Hopkinsville Police say 58-year-old Thomas Mason was stopped for failing to stop at an intersection and admitted to having marijuana.

During a search of the vehicle police also found meth and a used needle in the vehicle.

Mason’s passenger 45-year-old Patricia Mann was charged after more meth was found in her purse.

Both were arrested and charged with first-degree possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were also arrested for outstanding warrants.
