Pennyrile Electric is planning a power outage for over 1,500 members early Sunday morning in Trigg County.
Spokesman Brent Gilkey says customers along Highway 272 East, Highway 124, Highway 139 North to 6320 Princeton Road, U.S. 68 East from Cadiz to Gracey, and Wallonia. The outage will begin at 12:01 and last approximately 4 hours.
Gilkey adds they regret the interruption of service, but they say it’s necessary to perform maintenance within the Cadiz substation. In case of inclement weather, the interruption will be rescheduled.
