During Monday evening’s meeting, Trigg County Fiscal Court members voted to enter into an agreement with the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security to help Trigg County Hospital.
Judge/Executive Hollis Alexander says the agreement will allow the hospital to apply for a grant.
In other business, magistrates approved the appointment of Ken Culwell to the Cadiz-Trigg County Planning Commission to fill the unexpired term of Sharon Butts.

Magistrates also approved to add Avalon Drive, located off Highway 124, into the county road system. The road is under three-tenths of a mile and by adding it into the system, the road could get paved.
In good news, Alexander shared that the Trigg County Senior Citizen’s Center presented a $3,500 check to him on Monday.

The center began raising funds after they learned some of their services would be reduced due to statewide budget cuts that affected the Pennyrile Allied Community Services.
