The Christian County Health Department will be hosting a Narcan training Wednesday and Thursday.
Instructional Design and Marketing Manager Amanda Bassingthwaite says the Narcan drug is for people who may have overdosed on an opioid.
She adds the class is great for anyone who may be related to someone prone to an overdose.
Both classes will begin at 11:00 AM. Wednesday’s class will be held at the Christian County Health Department until 5:00 PM, with Thursday’s class taking place at the Oak Grove Community Center until 4:00 PM.
Everyone who participates in the class will receive a free dose and free training on how to use the drug.
