Primary Election Turn-Out Remains Low In Trigg And Christian

The Primary Election is almost over, but there is still time to cast your vote with polls set to close at 6:00. Trigg and Christian County officials are reporting turnout for the election has been low as previously predicted.

Due to a new tool at the precincts, Trigg County Clerk Carmen Finley says it’s been a good day but as of mid-afternoon, only about 8 percent of registered voters had cast their ballot.
