A Hopkins County man died as the result of a house fire late Tuesday night. State Police say the fire broke out at a home located at 11265 Nebo Road. 66-year old William Phillip,s of Nebo, was inside the residence at the time of the fire, and was pronounced dead at the scene by Hopkins County Coroner Dennis Mayfield.
State Police note an arson investigator is continuing the investigation into the blaze. State police were assisted on the scene by several fire departments from across Hopkins County.
