Two men were indicted by the Christian County Grand Jury Friday in connection to an Oak Grove shooting that occurred in March.
Theodore Harris Freeman, IV was indicted for first-degree assault and Jordan Allan Parks of Clarksville was indicted for first-degree complicity to assault. According to Oak Grove Police, Freeman was aided by Parks on March 6 in planning to assault William Bland. Police say Freeman shot Brand in the shoulder after Parks maneuvered the vehicle he was driving on Highway 911 in Oak Grove in order to slow or block Brand’s vehicle. According to emergency traffic on March 6, the car was hit seven times and the suspects fled the scene. Brand was taken by ambulance to Blanchfield Army Hospital for treatment.
The grand jury also indicted Juan Carlos Gonzalez of Oak Grove for first-degree rape. Oak Grove Police reported they were called to an apartment on Dylan Lane in Oak Grove on March 24 where Gonzalez had allegedly sexually assaulted a female. Police said the victim was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment and officers found Gonzalez bent over in the shower throwing up and with blood on his body.
