The annual Cadiz Take a Kid Fishing Day will take place Saturday morning.
Event organizer Carmen Finley says the event will begin at 9:00 at West Cadiz Park. KFC/Taco Bell pays for all admission for the event, so it’s free for children aged 3 to 15.
Finley adds they will be hosting a new competition this year.

Lunch will be provided for all participants. Registration forms can be picked up at Cadiz City Hall or the John L. Street Library and children can be registered at the park before 9:00 Saturday morning.
