A toddler was injured after being hit by a horse at the 7300 block of US 68 East in Christian County Thursday morning.
Hopkinsville Fire Department spokesman Captain Michael Pendleton said a 17-month-old was in a horse barn with his father when the horse hit the child in the head knocking him down. The child had a cut to his head but never lost consciousness.
