A man and woman were flown to the hospital after a motorcycle fire on Cadiz Road Saturday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Ross Woodward said the motorcyclist had just filled up with gas and could feel something wet on his leg as he drove down the road.
He attempted to stop before the bike caught fire near the intersection of Everett Lane.
The woman got off the motorcycle and was able to roll on the ground and put out the fire quickly but the man suffered severe burns.
Two helicopters were called to the scene and both riders were flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
