A Madisonville woman was charged with possession of synthetic drugs and tampering with physical evidence Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 30-year-old Megan Smith was seen by police staring at the wall of First United Methodist Church when police passed by the area.
After talking with Smith police could reportedly see something in her hand but she denied anything but her phone being in her hand.
She was found to have synthetic drugs in her hand and in her purse.
