Deputies release more information about a high-speed pursuit that ended when a deer entered the roadway on Kentucky 117 Saturday night.
Christian County Sheriffs Deputy Michael Oxford said he attempted to stop a motorcycle rider on Fort Campbell Boulevard in the area of McDonald’s after he noticed him going 50 mph.
19-year-old Michael Graddy fled at speeds of 100 mph before he ran off the road after a deer entered the roadway about 1 mile south of Cox Mill Road.
Graddy was taken by ambulance to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. He is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment of a police officer, speeding 16 mph over the limit, reckless driving, and first-degree fleeing or evading police.
