The Field of Flags, sponsored by American Legion Post 74, is waving proudly in honor of our veterans and service members in Cadiz.
The field, located in front of Hancock’s Neighborhood Market, has been a tradition carried on for around nine years.
The News Edge spoke with Vietnam veteran Emil Ladd about the Field of Flags and how the American Legion supports the community.

Ladd also says those who wish to purchase a flag in honor of someone who is serving or has served can do so for $25.
The last day to purchase a flag is Friday, July 5th with a ceremony the following day to close out the annual Field of Flags.
