Lightning may have started a fire that damaged a storage unit complex on Blooming Grove Road Friday night.
Hopkinsville Fire Department Deputy Chief Steve Futrell said they are investigating the fire but believe it could have started by lightning.
Smoke was coming from the building when they arrived and firefighters had to cut open two units to extinguish the fire.
