Winner Crowned for Mrs. Western Kentucky State Fair

The fair held their 37th annual contest on Saturday night to crown Mrs. Western Kentucky State Fair of 2019.

Thirteen contestants competed for the title, with Jennifer McGhee being crowned the winner.

McGhee, who was sponsored by Vaught Brothers Lumber in Central City, spoke with the News Edge following the pageant to share what it meant for her to take home the crown.

She also shared what her biggest takeaway from the pageant was and what it meant for her to meet the other contestants.


Lindsey Hawkins was named first runner-up, Paula Snorton was second runner-up, and Allie Garrett was chosen as Miss Congeniality.
