Motorists who routinely travel through southeastern Caldwell County are being advised of a temporary road closure this week.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet spokesman Keith Todd says that contractors plan to close a section of KY 278/Sandlick Road to allow cross drain repairs in the Eison Branch area between KY 672 and KY 1603/Scottsburg Road.
Todd notes the roadway at this site is expected to close around 8 AM both Wednesday and Thursday and is expected to reopen to traffic around 3 PM each afternoon.
There will be no marked detour.
