
Police have released the name of a woman who was injured when her car hit a parked car on Means Avenue Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police Public Safety Officer Cassidy Wood said 21-year-old Zariah Gillies of Hopkinsville was westbound when she fell asleep and her car ran off the road hitting a parked car and a fence.
The parked car was owned by 41-year-old Lakeisha Sheets of Hopkinsville. Gillies was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.
