Organizers are hoping for a strong finish to the Western Kentucky State Fair tonight with two popular events headlining activities.
Fair board member Tony Meacham says 4,900 patrons passed through the gates of the Western Kentucky State Fair Friday night to push the total to just over 26,700. Friday activities included the WKDZ Barn Bash in the convention center, truck and tractor pulls at the grand stands, the beef cattle show and the petting zoo.
Meacham says activities continue for one final night with gates opening at 4:00, rides opening at 5, a pedal pull at 6.
