Police have released the names of two people injured in a wreck on Pembroke Road Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say an SUV driven by 57-year-old Jacqueline Dillard Of Hopkinsville was southbound just past the Skyline Drive intersection when Dillard lost control hitting two mailboxes and a light pole.
Dillard told police she rarely drives due to medical issues and accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake during the crash.
Dillard and one of her passengers 13-year-old Ta’Mya Tandy of Hopkinsville were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.
A third passenger in the SUV 10-year-old Artayshia Tandy of Hopkinsville was later taken to the hospital by private vehicle to be checked out.
