A Hopkinsville man was charged with second-degree burglary and violating a protective order on West 7th Street Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 38-year-old William Hess entered a home on West 7th Street and grabbed a woman from behind that already had an emergency protective order against him.
He told police when they arrived that he would not follow the protective order.
