A Hopkinsville man is charged with burglary after he reportedly attacked a woman on South Main Street Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 31-year-old David Colgin was found in a woman’s Manhattan Hotel room when she confronted him he pushed her onto the bed and poured bleach on her.
The woman was able to hit him in the head with a bottle of wine causing him to flee the area.
Police found that Colgin had been given a trespass warning for the Manhattan Hotel after assaulting the same woman earlier in the month.
Police later located Colgin and charged him with second-degree burglary.
