Disturbance Call Leads To Happy Meals For Children

Two Hopkinsville Police Department officers are thanking a McDonald’s manager for taking care of some hungry children recently.

The police department reports Amanda Hancock, manager of the location on Fort Campbell Boulevard helped Sergeant Edward Eastman and Officer Michael Felts when they went in to buy some Happy Meals.

The department adds while on a disturbance call, the officers noticed four children were upset and hungry. Sgt. Eastman offered to get them McDonald’s to help calm them down. When Officer Felts went to McDonald’s to purchase the food, Hancock walked up to the cashier and paid for the food.
