Motorists who travel Kentucky 800/Crofton-Dawson Road in Christian County, west of Crofton, need to be aware a section of the road will be closed Thursday to allow a cross drain to be replaced.
State transportation officials say the closure will be between the 4 and 5-mile marker, about two miles west of the Crofton community. The road is expected to close around 7:00 Thursday morning and is expected to reopen to traffic around 2:00 that afternoon.
There will be no marked detour.
