Two women were taken to the hospital after a wreck on Lafayette Road Thursday night.Hopkinsville Police Officer Lori Kryszewski said a southbound car on Lafayette Road crossed into the northbound lanes and hit an SUV head-on.
The driver of the car told police she believes a medical problem may have caused her to lose consciousness causing the wreck.
The driver of the SUV was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center by ambulance for minor injuries and the driver of the car was taken by private vehicle to the hospital to be checked out.
