Tuesday marks National Night Out across the country and Trigg County is looking to celebrate in a big way.
Sheriff Jason Barnes tells the News Edge the inaugural event will take place at West Cadiz Park.
He adds there will be plenty of food.
There will be numerous informational booths on hand.
The National Night Out has occurred across the nation since 1984.
Barnes thanks community members who have stepped up to make the evening possible.
The entire community is invited to attend the completely free event.
