Police have released more information about a wreck on West 7th Street at the intersection of Earl Drive that severely injured a motorcyclist Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police Sgt. Ceasar Sierra said the motorcyclist 22-year-old Nicholas Fisher of Hopkinsville was eastbound attempting to turn into a parking lot when a car driven by 22-year-old Victoria Dixon of Cadiz behind him struck his motorcycle.
Fisher was ejected onto the hood of the car in the crash. He was unconscious when police arrived he was taken by ambulance to a waiting helicopter at Jennie Stuart Medical Center that flew him to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
