The 2018-2019 eighth grade class at Trigg County Middle School were honored Tuesday morning at the 15th annual Gala of Tables.
Cadiz VFW Auxiliary member Lorie Homiak and President Robin Oakley made an award presentation to teacher Kim Mroch and principal Amy Breckel.
Homiak notes Mroch and her students do excellent work.
Mroch thanked the community for the support they have given.
Mroch was presented with a special letter from the VFW and a $100 gift card to use for her classroom.
The annual Gala of Tables serves as a way to kick off the school year for teachers and staff members of Trigg County Public Schools. Students return back to the classroom Wednesday.
