Motorists traveling on Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County need to be aware of a lane restriction beginning Monday.
State transportation officials say a contractor will establish the work zone from about the 12-mile marker extending northward to around the 16.5-mile marker, north of Hopkinsville. The project includes some grade and drain improvements along the median and shoulders, as well as pavement rehabilitation.
Both northbound and southbound motorists should be alert for the lane restrictions and use appropriate caution.
Officials indicate the rehabilitation project is expected to take about two months to complete.
