The Christian County Middle School Percussion Ensemble has been selected to play an educational conference next year.
Band Director Calvin Warren says they will be playing the Kentucky Music Educators Association (KMEA) Professional Development Conference in February 2020. He adds being selected to perform is a huge deal for their students and since many groups apply each year it is a testament to their hard work and perseverance.
Warren notes they sent a recorded performance to the KMEA selection committee along with other talented groups from across the Commonwealth for a chance to perform at the annual conference held in Louisville.
