The Cadiz Rotary Club learned more about the Trigg County schools transportation department during their meeting Tuesday afternoon.
New Transportation Director Erin Eagleson says his drivers are busy throughout the school year.
He adds with that many routes, they go through a lot of diesel.
Eagleson notes the relationship between a bus driver and a student is one of the most important relationships.
The district is always looking for more drivers. Eagleson adds they can train anyone interested in becoming a bus driver.
Driver trainers work with new drivers for over 40 hours before they can take a written test to obtain their CDL.
