Authorities Looking For Princeton Armed Robbery Suspect

Law enforcement agencies in Caldwell County are asking for information surrounding an armed robbery at a local convenience store early Friday morning.

Princeton Police Chief Chris King says that officers responded to an armed robbery at the Circle K Convenience Store on South Jefferson Street just before 2:00. He adds that the clerk told officers that a black male allegedly entered the store brandishing a handgun, went behind the counter and told the clerk to open the register. The suspect then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled on foot toward Legion Drive.

Chief King notes that the suspect is described as a light-skinned black male approximately 5’8”, 140 pounds, wearing a dark hoody, black hat, blue shirt, dark pants, black shoes with white soles, pink gloves, a blue bandana, and white framed sunglasses.

Anyone with information surrounding the robbery is asked to call the Princeton Police Department at 270-365-2041 or 270-365-4657.
