Stewart County Inmates Graduate Helpful Program

15 male inmates in Stewart County, Tennessee recently graduated “The Better Life Skills Program”.

The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office reports the inmates graduated Thursday. They add the inmates participated in the program for thirteen weeks and during that time they were required to complete homework studies and resumes. The program helps inmates obtain and keep a job once they are released.

The department thanks Pastor Phil Dunn and his wife Betsy for all of their hard work and dedication to the program and Bumpus Mills Church of Christ for providing a meal and desserts for the graduation ceremony.

The next “Better Life Skills Program” will be held in the fall for female inmates.
