An Earlington man was charged with first-degree assault after an investigation into injuries his 8-week-old child had on Sunday.Hopkins County Sheriff’s Deputies say the child was in the care of 38-year-old Herbert Harris when the child sustained injuries believed to be from abuse.
Deputies first found out about the injuries when the child was taken to Baptist Health in Madisonville. The child was transferred to the University of Louisville due to the seriousness of the injuries.
