A Hopkinsville woman was charged with first-degree criminal abuse Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say a 3-year-old was brought to the Sheriff’s Office after she was found attempting to cross West 7th Street in the area of Sonic Drive-In.
The child was able to show police where she was staying. In the home police reportedly found 39-year-old Jeshia Wills who told police she let the child play outside as she took a shower.
