It’s one of the biggest events of the year at Jeffers Bend Environmental Center in Hopkinsville as the annual NatureFest kicks off Saturday afternoon with numerous family-fun activities.
Hopkinsville-Christian County Visitors Bureau Executive Assistant Robin Charles says there will be many activities for the entire family to enjoy, ranging from walks in the woods to outdoor skills training.

Charles says they also will have a food booth and door prizes to be handed out at the end of the day.
NatureFest, which draws several hundred children and adults, will be held Saturday afternoon from 1:00 until 5:00. Admission is $10 per car, $15 per bus up to 25 people, or $30 per bus which is 26 people or more. Admission includes events, activities, and parking.Jeffers Bend Environmental Center is located on Metcalfe Lane, just off the intersection with North Main Street.
