Newly appointed chief of the Cadiz Police Department Duncan Wiggins spoke to Rotarians about his goals for the department.
Chief Wiggins says he has two main goals for the department: increasing personnel and improving how evidence is handled.
In addition, he hopes to improve the officers’ access to information in their patrol cars.
Chief Wiggins adds he wishes to improve the appearance of the department in the community.
He says he has devised a four-year plan for department development.
Chief Wiggins was appointed chief of the Cadiz Police Department early last month but has been a member of CPD for 25 years.
