Police Release Details About Officer-Involved Shooting In Elkton

Kentucky State Police have released the name of a man killed in an officer-involved shooting on East Main Street In Elkton Tuesday afternoon.

Kentucky State Police say 75-year-old Roy Tucker of Elkton was stopped by Elkton Police Chief Robert Toombs, and Todd County Sheriff’s Deputy David Hutcheson near South Perry Street and Tucker brandished a gun and shots were exchanged.

The Todd County Coroner’s Office pronounced Tucker dead at the scene.
