President Donald Trump has declared all American and state flags at public office buildings be lowered to half-staff Sunday to honor the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.
The 38th National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service will be held in Emmitsburg, Maryland during the day and will honor 92 firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2018 and 27 who died in previous years.
All businesses, individuals, organizations, and government agencies are encouraged to join in the tribute to “honor and remember the heroic firefighters and first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice”.
