A special ceremony for Korean War Veterans will be held later this month.
Hopkinsville Friendship House Professional Service Coordinator Lela Hale tells the News Edge the ceremony will be held Friday morning, October 18 at 9:00.
Hale adds she can still take applications for the medallions.
The medallions are for any veteran who served during the Korean War.
Medallions can also be presented to those whose loved ones have already passed away, but qualify for it.
