UPDATE: Name Released Of Woman Involved In Hopkinsville Crash

Authorities have released the name of a Hopkinsville woman who was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle wreck in Christian County Saturday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jeff Goulet tells the News Edge the crash occurred on the Lovers Lane-Eagle Way Bypass off-ramp at the Pennyrile Parkway just before 8:00. He says 25-year old Rachel Bailey-Jones was on the exit-ramp when her car hit a guardrail, causing it to overturn and come to rest on its top. She was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for possible injuries.

The off-ramp was closed for over an hour while deputies worked the wreck and the car was removed from the scene.

According to the Christian County Jail website, Bailey-Jones was charged with driving under the influence (aggravating circumstances).
