A man was charged shortly after a bank robbery in Marshall County Tuesday afternoon.
Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputies say Jeffrey Tapp was located in a vehicle on Kentucky 408 at the intersection of US 68 that fit the description of a vehicle used by a suspect to flee after a bank robbery.
Tapp was reportedly armed with a handgun and robbed the Lake Chem Federal Credit Union in Draffenville taking an undisclosed amount of money.
He is charged with first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
