Last New Ambassadors Named For Hopkinsville Challenge House Program

The Challenge House program in Hopkinsville has been going through a restructuring phase that has included naming new ambassadors for five houses located in inner-city neighborhoods.

Ashlee and Gregory Boyd were named the ambassadors for Challenge House #1 Monday afternoon. Ashlee says they are glad to be back in the city and are grateful the program exists to help people.

Ashlee adds they hope to live out the bible verse Micah 6:8 which exhorts believers “to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Both will spend the next few weeks meeting neighbors and learning about their needs to offer new programs. Ashlee notes programs they would like to offer include a bible study that is open to everyone, tutoring for students, teach sewing lessons, among others.

Ashlee and Gregory have four children, three are enrolled in the Christian County Public School system.

Challenge House #1 is located at 1001 Central Avenue near the Boys and Girls Club of Hopkinsville and Christian County.
