Trigg County Schools Interim Superintendent Tim McGinnis says progress is being made on all of the renovation projects going on within the district.
He notes the community may have noticed where the former adult education building was torn down about two weeks ago. The building was razed to make room for the new elementary school gymnasium.

Progress has also been made in the middle and high school vestibule projects.
McGinnis adds they had a safe schools visit Wednesday from School Security Marshal Ben Wilcox.

Trigg County school board members awarded bids for the three renovation projects on August 29.
A&K Construction in Paducah is the contractor for the over $13.9-million elementary school renovation, with Princeton Lumber Company, LLC in charge of the over $490,000 vestibule projects.
