An 18-year old indicted earlier this month in connection to a fatal shooting on McHenry Street was arraigned in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Rick Boling says Robert Earl Torian III entered a not guilty plea. His next court appearance will be a pretrial conference set for December 18.
Torian is accused in connection to the fatal shooting of 25-year old Terrell Moore of Hopkinsville on August 11 after police said the two men got into a verbal argument while they were passengers in a vehicle. Moore was reportedly sitting in the front passenger seat and Torian was sitting behind him in the backseat. Police said an eyewitness stated Torian got out of the vehicle on McHenry Street, opened the front passenger door, and shot Moore in the face. Police reported the eyewitness positively identified Torian as the shooter.
Torian remains lodged in the Christian County Jail charged with murder.
