A man was killed in an officer-involved shooting in the Dexter community on Radio Road Saturday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police say the shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. as law enforcement from the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office and an officer with the Murray Police Department were investigating a report of a suspicious person.
During the altercation with 42-year-old John Hale of Almo was reportedly shot and died from his injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for Sunday in Madisonville.
No officers were injured in the shooting.
