Freedom Elementary School accepted a statewide award Thursday for their family resource center.
Officials with the Christian County School District report the school’s Eagle Family Resource and Youth Services Center (FRYSC) was presented the Harry J. Cowherd Award of Excellence by the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHSF). Eagle FRYSC Director Chris Dudley was on hand to accept the award in Lexington.
