A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Cunningham Lane in Trigg County Saturday night, with the driver of the vehicle fleeing the scene of the accident.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Sgt. David Tomlinson tells the News Edge Theresa Latham of Cadiz ran into a deer with her vehicle on Cunningham Lane Saturday night. As Latham was getting out of her vehicle, Sgt Tomlinson says Latham was hit by the mirror of a truck while the driver was passing by her vehicle. The driver of the truck did not stop to offer assistance and has not been located by officials.
Latham was taken to Trigg County Hospital by ambulance for non-life-threatening injuries.
