The South Western Kentucky Economic Development Council and its Board of Directors announced Friday that Executive Director Mark Lindsey will be resigning in January.
Board of Directors Chair Lee Conrad says Lindsey has been a great asset to the community in his current role and they wish him well in the private sector.
Conrad says the search process for a new executive director will probably begin after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Lindsey says he has thoroughly enjoyed serving the people of Christian, Todd and Trigg counties as the regional economic development director for the past two years. He notes he will miss the relationships that he has formed, but he is excited about his new opportunity in the private sector.
Lindsey’s resignation is effective January 24, 2020.
