The Caldwell County School District is under investigation by the Kentucky Office of Education Accountability.
Superintendent Nate Huggins tells the News Edge that someone within the district had filed a complaint with the Kentucky Office of Education Accountability (OEA) in Frankfort. He adds that OEA officials requested to speak with a certain group of employees to gather their information as to formulate a legal opinion to validate or dismiss the complaint.
Superintendent Huggins notes that officials concluded their visit in his office around three Friday afternoon but stated that it could be weeks before he would receive a report on their findings.
No other information surrounding the complaint or investigation has been released.
The Kentucky Office of Education Accountability investigates allegations of wrongdoing of any person or agency at the state, regional, or school district level.
