A Hopkinsville man was charged with unlawful imprisonment after he reportedly held a woman and his infant child in a home on Linda Drive Wednesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the home for a disturbance with a man possibly armed with a gun and found 19-year-old Alex Deason in a room with his child’s mother and their child.
When police asked if the woman could leave the room Deason reportedly told police no but after talking with him the woman exited the room and Deason was taken into custody without anyone being injured.
Deason is charged with first-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, and resisting arrest.
